A homely traditional cuisine offers suppers in the Napoleon III dining room, in the salon or under the colonial style veranda, according to your taste.
And is it not the ideal place to discover the area of Aunis, one of the most ancient region of France, between La Rochelle and the islands of Ré, Aix, Oléron, the roman Saintonge and the Poitevin swamp.

Ronsard was fifty four years old when
he met Hélène de Surgères. 
It was the Queen Catherine de Medicis
who introduced them to each other.
